It looks like a Richard Mille boutique is coming to Chicago soon.
The storefront immediately to the east of Razny Jewelers on Oak Street (109 E Oak) is currently cloaked in a black Richard Mille tarp, indicating that a boutique from the high-end watch manufacturer is “opening soon.” No other details about the imminent opening were available at this time.
The boutique will be Richard Mille’s sixth in the United States and eighth in North America. Additionally, it’ll be the first in the American Midwest (there is one in Toronto). It’s another exciting get for Chicago, after Richemont brands IWC, A. Lange and Panerai opened up boutiques at the nearby Waldorf Astoria just last summer.
Currently, Geneva Seal, located just across Oak Street, is the only authorized dealer of Richard Mille in Chicago. The forthcoming boutique is an exciting addition to the city’s haute horology scene and recognition of the robust community of enthusiasts and collectors (as well as their presumably robust disposable incomes).
